Oklahoma vs Florida Prediction

The current betting odds have Florida listed as a 6.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Florida has looked good in their games this season with their 5-3 record overall and their 3-3 conference record which has them right in the middle of the SEC. They have looked good on their home field too with their 3-1 home record this season. Meanwhile, Oklahoma hasn't looked good in their games this season with their 4-4 record overall and their 2-3 conference record which has them in the bottom half of the SEC. They haven't been a good road team either with their 1-2 road record this year. Oklahoma entered the season ranked as one of the best teams in the nation after making a trip to the CFP last season, but this year has been a disaster for them. They have had one of the worst offenses in the SEC and they have had a lot of trouble putting up points in their games every week. They did have one of the best defenses in the SEC still, but even that is gone now as they have looked terrible lately. They are coming off a 42-25 loss to South Carolina in their last one and now they have to go on the road where they have had more trouble this season. Florida looked terrible in their last one, losing 27-8 to Georgia, but Florida has been really up and down like that all season and Georgia might be the best team in the nation too. Florida definitely has some head scratchers, but they have also picked up some really good wins along the way and they will be looking to bounce back at home after that embarrassing loss. They have looked a lot better in their home games this year and they are going to bring their best effort to bounce back against a dead Oklahoma team. The best way to place a bet here is on Florida to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“We got our ass whooped tonight in every way. Really disappointed. I watched the game, everybody else watched the game. They were a more physical team and created explosive plays. We couldn't get any offensive rhythm in the first half. We're not built to overcome some of the ineptness as a football team that we displayed out there tonight.” - Brent Venables after his team’s loss against South Carolina in their last game.

“Georgia, I think they’re really good. I think they’re well-coached. Got a lot of respect for them. They didn’t need our help tonight, but we gave it to them, and they won the game. The Gators didn’t help the Gators enough tonight.” - Jon Sumrall after his team’s loss against Georgia in their last game.
