Northwestern vs Purdue Prediction

The current betting odds have Purdue listed as an 18 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Purdue hit a snag during the middle of the season where they weren't playing very well in their games but they have figured things out and have been playing a lot better in their last few games. They just pulled off a big win on the road over a good Illinois team and they also put themselves in a position to have a chance at going to the Big Ten Conference Championship. Northwestern has been having a terrible season with only 1 win all year and they have done nothing in a lot of their road games. They have no road wins this season and in a lot of their road games they have struggled to even score points, getting blown out by over 20 points in a majority of them. Northwestern really has nothing left to play for this year other than spoiler but with Purdue starting to gain a lot of momentum into these final games of the season and still a conference championship to play for, it will be tough for Northwestern to even come close in this game with how bad they have looked on the road this year. The best way to place a bet here is on Purdue to cover the spread in this game.

"We've gone through adversity and had two losses the last two weeks where we didn't look really good and teams kind of after us. But that's college football." - Jeff Brohm after his team’s win against Illinois in their last game.
