Northwestern vs Oregon Prediction

The current betting odds have Northwestern listed as a 3.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Northwestern has looked great in their games this season with their 6-1 record overall and their 3-1 conference record which has them right near the top of the Big Ten. They haven't been a great road team though with their 1-1 road record this year. Meanwhile, Oregon has looked good in their games this season with their 4-3 record overall and their 2-2 conference record which has them right in the middle of the Big Ten. They have looked good on their home field too with their 3-1 home record this season. Oregon has had a really bad season considering where they were to start the year. They were ranked like one of the best teams in the nation entering the year with a ton of talent coming back from the team that was so good last season, but everything has fallen apart for them. They took a bad early loss in the season to Oklahoma State and now it looks like their CFP hopes are truly dead after losing to Illinois 21-10 last week. It doesn't help that they have been missing their starting QB too and he won't be returning this season. Oregon is pretty much dead in the water with the way their season has gone, but Northwestern is very much alive in the conference with a chance to go to the CFP too. Northwestern's only loss this season was a tight road loss to Indiana and lately they have been rolling over teams, coming off a 42-14 win over Rutgers in their last one. Northwestern has a ton of momentum on their side right now and even though Oregon isn't ranked anymore, this is still a huge game for Northwestern to win on the road and boost their resume. Northwestern has looked like the better team all season, so look for them to roll over an Oregon team that is in the midst of a disaster season. The best way to place a bet here is on Northwestern to cover the spread in this game.
