Maryland still managed to pull off the win without him but they barely came out of it with a 5 point win and they are not going to play as well with the backup QB in. Maryland hasn't really blown out a lot of teams this year either and Northwestern is the kind of team that will stick around with a good defensive effort. The defense should be able to stop this banged up Maryland offense and Maryland just can't be trusted to cover a number this big with their current injuries. The best way to place a bet here is on Northwestern to cover the spread in this game.
