North Texas vs Tulane Prediction

The current betting odds have Tulane listed as a 19.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Tulane has been having a great year with their 5-1 record overall, their only loss coming against Ole Miss, and they are 2-0 in their conference games with a lot of momentum behind them now after beating Memphis on the road in their last game. North Texas has not been having as good a season though as they are 3-3 overall and only 1-1 in conference play. North Texas is also in the 1st year of a new head coach as they have been going through some growing pains and they may be coming off a huge win at home against Temple who had their backup QB in but Tulane is a much better team than Temple and is one of the best teams in this conference if not the best, especially in their home games. Tulane has the much better defense here that is going to shut down this North Texas offense and Tulane also has a good offense that has been consistently putting up points in their games. The best way to place a bet here is on Tulane to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"Our kids will be naturally more motivated. They're a top-25 team for a reason. They've earned that right. Over the last two years, they've played phenomenal football. They've recruited well and are really sound on both sides. They're tough on both sides of the football. We know going into it, any time you play a good team we have to minimize our mistakes and tighten everything up and dot our I's and cross our T's and make sure we can match what they're doing out there." - Eric Morris on his team’s upcoming game against Tulane this week.

"We don't believe we've played our best game yet. I don't know if we've been even close to playing our best game yet. We've played really well in spurts. We haven't put a complete game together yet, and we'd love to do that. Perfection is our goal. Excellence will be tolerated." - Willie Fritz after his team’s win against Memphis in their last game.
