An NFL battle of teams that are circling the drain… except one of them has a life jacket.  The Washington Commanders won their last game against the Philadelphia Eagles… Yes the same team that was undefeated, yes the same team that was first (and still is) in the Commanders division…. The Commanders got their best win of the season against the best team in the league (record wise).. And the Commanders are terrible.  The Commanders have an owner who is the worst in the league and dragging his feet on leaving.  The Commanders were also not expected to win anything the rest of the way through.  The Texans are SO much worse than the Commanders.  They (the players) dream of 5 wins and they (the team) will not get there this season… even though mathematically they could get there.  The Texans are the worst team on offense and the worst team on defense… In the 1 single win the Texans have?... They beat the Jacksonville Jaguars… who are another worthless, terrible team.  What is the great betting opportunity?... That all depends on the spread.  How many points can we possibly see the Commanders winning by? 1?.. 3?... 7?... 20?!!  It’s a matter of numbers.

The Washington Commanders have won 3 of their last 4 games!  An amazing turnaround for a team that was 2-4 just a month ago.  They are also now 5-4-1 ATS!  A more amazing turnaround for a team that had lost their most faithful fans tons of money up until a month ago. This sudden turnaround could be Taylor Heinicke at quarterback where Carson Wentz used to be… or it could be a sudden increase in defensive numbers?... or it could be a shocking and sudden increase in scoring because of offensive weapons coming to life… whatever it is… The Commanders beat the Eagles with 152 rushing yards, 178 passing yards… and most certainly dominating the time of possession and winning the turnover battle.  The Commanders vs Eagles game will be remembered for the Eagles turning the ball over 4 times after having gone 8 games (all wins) with only 3 turnovers.  The Commanders may have caught a break.  Commanders QB hit WR Terry McLaurin for 8 receptions and 128 yards. The duo seemed to achieve a NEXT level. The Commanders defense held the Eagles to just 94 yards rushing… a tall order considering that Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is also part of the Eagles running game.

The Houston Texans have no signature wins… they have no stars to brag about.  They are on a 4-game losing streak… and it is not their biggest non-winning streak of the season.  These guys are awful.  The team has long since resigned to the idea that they will get the top pick and start over with a new quarterback.  I would like to scream my objection from the tallest point in North America from a bullhorn.  The Texans desperately need to take that #1 pick in the draft and TRADE BACK for more picks!  Then they need to take those more picks and TRADE BACK again.  This entire team needs an overhaul… finding a QB and putting him behind No offensive line and No weapons… while supported by NO defense will only lead to lots more failure.  This team needs a full overhaul… new starter won’t do the trick.

Washington Commanders VS Houston Texans Prediction

Our prediction for Sunday, November 20th is… Commanders 28 - Texans 13

Taylor Heineke will shred the Texans.  Taylor just won his first game against a really big opponent and will be served a cup of chicken soup this week against the soft defense of the Texans.  Bet on the Commanders… Plus the Commanders have the chance at jumping the Cowboys in the standings… It won’t matter too much at the end of the season but it would make everyone nice and motivated against the worst team in the league.  Again… Bet on the Commanders ignore any line movements or dramatic spreads.
