An NFL AFC battle between two of the best quarterbacks who strap on cleats on the planet. Are they two of the best teams however?  The points spread tells you that they may be. The spread is not large.  The points spread also tells you that neither team has the best defense… Why would the 9-2 Chiefs get such a small nod over a 7-4 team?  The answer is of course both teams can score at any moment… but neither defense is pegged to stop that score.  We could see a last second barn burner… or we could see a blowout on either side.  So what is the Great Betting Opportunity?.. Who is the better quarterback and does he have the better team?  Let’s check the numbers and slay this bet!

The Kansas City Chiefs are always pegged to be the top contender if not the winner of the Super Bowl.  This season is no different.  As long as QB Patrick Mahomes is taking snaps for the Chiefs they can beat anyone and will beat most. The Chiefs are on a 5-game winning streak.  They last lost to the Buffalo Bills 24-20 back in Week 6.  Their last game was a 26-10 easy win over the Los Angeles Rams. In that games Patrick Mahomes landed 27 of 42 passes for 320 yards 1 TD and 1 INT, RB Isiah Pacheco ran for a TD… the field goal kicker got a workout… and the Chiefs never sweated the outcome.  The Chiefs play a “loose” offensive game with Mahomes hitting as many as ten receivers in any given game.  P-Dibble often hits TE Travis Kelce … but could target Scantling, Schuster, Moore, McKinnon… etc.  The overall feeling that when the Chiefs lost WR Tyreek Hill during the offseason was that they would struggle, but since Mahomes quarterbacks with tons of creativity?... It hasn’t dented his numbers a bit… Mahomes has 3585 passing yards on the season with 6 games left to play… That is not bad at all.

The Cincinnati Bengals tasted the Super Bowl last season… and like the Los Angeles Rams that defeated them in that ultimate game?... They started this season slowly.  They have really recovered. The Bengals are on a 3-game winning streak.  They beat their last foe, The Tennessee Titans 20-16.  In that game Bengals QB Joe Burrow completed 22 of 37 passes for 270 yards and 1 TD.  114 of those yards and that TD went to WR Tee Higgins. The Bengals have definitely been missing WR JaMarr Chase and his big play ability as he has missed a few games with hip soreness.  He is listed as Probable against the Chiefs.  The Bengals have top-7 offensive numbers while also having slightly above average defensive numbers.  Their QB is a gunslinger, gambler, with a boy scouts heart.  Their weapons are talented and varied.  The Bengals can win many games.. But wil they at least cover the spread against the Chiefs?

It is time to bet on the Chiefs.  The Chiefs have been losers ATS while winning game after game because Vegas set the spreads TOO HIGH!  Vegas has rebounded to a small spread here!  It is time to go all in on the Chiefs against a small spread.  Yes the Bengals defense is OK to good… The Chiefs offense is a thing to behold! Look for Joe Burrow to have a good game while Patrick Mahomes out passes him, outscores him… and ultimately out studs him.
