Yankees vs Blue Jays Prediction

The Yankees are coming into this game on a massive win streak and they have rarely been losing games recently. They currently have the best record in the MLB and they have for a while now as they just keep on winning games and scoring many runs in the process. They are going up against a Blue Jays team that is also very good this season and has been playing well recently but is also nowhere near as consistent as the Yankees have been and that is due to their starting rotation and inconsistency at bat. There are some games where the Jays bats will go cold but they have been on a hot streak and then the next game after pick up where they left off again, hence the inconsistency. Their pitching has also let them down as their bullpen has a few arms that have blown some games recently and their starting rotation has a few unreliable pitchers as well. They have Stripling starting here and he has been good this season but he does not start often in games but pitches well when he does. They are going up against a Yankees team with Montgomery on the mound and he has been great this season, coming off of another great start in his last. The Yankees have not been hitting well in their last series but that is due to the great pitching by the Rays but the Yankees still won that series and they have a much better pitching staff than the Jays do. Both of these teams are very good and this pitching matchup is quite even so there will likely be a good line on the Yankees and with how well they have been playing all season, the Yankees are not a team to step in front of. The best bet here is on the Yankees to win this game at the cheaper price.

"I told (on deck hitter Alejandro) Kirk just to be ready because I thought I was going to get walked. When I saw they were going to pitch to me I said ‘Well, the game is over right here.'" - Vladimir Guerrero Jr. after their win against the Orioles on Wednesday.
