Yankees vs Mariners Prediction

The current betting odds have the Yankees listed as a slight underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Mariners have been playing a lot better lately but they still haven't been great this season as they are struggling to stay above .500. The Yankees are only in 3rd place in their division right now but they actually have one of the better records in the MLB at 32-23 and they have also had a much better offense than the Mariners have all season. Part of the reason the Mariners made that late surge toward the playoffs last season was because their offense was performing so well but this year they have been a lot slower out of the gate and haven't been putting up as many runs. The Yankees offense hasn't been as strong this season either but they still have an offense near the top half of the league and they have been getting better in their games as they just put up a ton of runs against the Padres in their last series. It is going to be tough for either team to get a pitching edge here too since both Gilbert and Cortes have been so good over the last year, but the Yankees also have one of the best bullpens in the MLB right now and their offense has been a lot hotter so they clearly have the slight edge in this game. The best way to place a bet here is on the Yankees to win this game.

Yankees Mariners Prediction:  Our MLB Pick for Tuesday, May 30, 2023 (9:40 pm ET start time) is Yankees 3 Mariners 1.
