Jets vs Browns Prediction

The current betting odds have the Jets listed as a 6.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Jets lost their game in Week 1 at home in a bad 24-9 loss where they did not have much offense at all. Joe Flacco didn't look great in that game either, but Jacoby Brissett didn't look any better in his start for the Browns and Flacco is still a veteran QB with a Super Bowl as a starter to his name. He will improve in this 2nd week and this is the perfect spot for the Jets to cover and even win this game. The Browns did not look that good passing the ball but their run game was really good. The Jets defended the run really well against the Ravens though, and they will do the same in this game. If they take away the run game and Brissett has to win it with his arm, it is not going to happen. This will also be a let down spot for the Browns after an emotional win over the Panthers and their former QB Baker Mayfield. The Browns also have a divisional game against the Steelers on Thursday so they will be looking ahead to that game with a short week in front of them also. The Jets are going to catch the Browns off guard here and could even win this game straight up. The best way to place a bet here is on the Jets to cover the spread in this game.
