Saints vs Cowboys Prediction

The current betting odds have the Saints listed as a 6 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Saints looked really good in their season opener with their win over the Panthers. The Panthers were the worst team in the NFL last season so that win isn't that impressive by itself, but winning 47-10 showed that the Saints offense is rolling right out of the gate. Meanwhile, the Cowboys also looked great in their season opener with a 33-17 road win over the Browns. They put up 33 points on a really good Browns defense as their offense was rolling, but the Browns offense also looked really dysfunctional with Watson at the helm. Now the Saints are playing their 1st road game of the season while the Cowboys are playing their home opener, but both teams have really good defenses to go with these strong offenses. Neither team will be able to score at will like they each did in week 1 and this should be a much closer game with the defenses shining. The Saints have a chance to win this game with the way they rolled in week 1 and even if they don't pull off the upset here, a touchdown is a lot for the Cowboys to win by considering the good Saints defense and how the Saints showed their offense can put up points. The best way to place a bet here is on the Saints to cover the spread in this game.

Saints Cowboys Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, September 15, 2024 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Cowboys 24 Saints 21.
