The Panthers are entering this game with a 0-1 record overall and they have a 0-1 record in their divisional games too.  They are 0-0 in their home games, 0-1 in their road games, and they are also 0-0 in their neutral site games this season, but they will be at home for this game. Saints vs Panthers Prediction

The current betting odds have the Panthers listed as a 3.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Panthers looked good in the 1st half of their season opener before letting that game get away from them on the road in Atlanta. Now they are playing their home opener against another divisional opponent and they will be looking to bounce back with some more offense in this game. The Saints played very well on defense in their season opener as they held the Titans to just 5 field goals at home, but the Carr era didn't get off to a great start as they only scored 1 touchdown in the game and barely beat the Titans by 1 point. Now Carr is playing his 1st road game in this offense and the Panthers offense was very good in their home games last year, they will be looking to get after Carr all game. The Saints offense struggled and as well as their defense played, they are going to struggle on offense in this game which means the Panthers will be in this game with a chance to win it. Even if the Saints win on the road here, it won't be by more than a field goal with the way their offense is moving the ball. The best way to place a bet here is on the Panthers to cover the spread in this game.

Saints Panthers Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Monday, September 18, 2023 (7:15 pm ET start time) is Panthers 23 Saints 20.
