Nebraska vs Rutgers Prediction

The current betting odds have Rutgers listed as a 3 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Rutgers just got pounded in their last game losing 49-10 to Ohio State, but that is the 3rd best team in the country and Rutgers never really stood a chance in that game anyway. Nebraska is coming into this game with a lot of confidence after finally getting their 1st win of the season over Indiana, but Indiana is not a very good team and that was not a real test for Nebraska being at home. Now they go on the road here and have to play in Rutgers which is a very tough place to play and Rutgers has a very good defense that will make it hard on this already struggling Nebraska offense to move the ball in this game. Rutgers had to play with a backup QB against OSU which really put them at a disadvantage too but they should have their starter back for this game and the offense will be a lot better at home as a result. Rutgers also has the better coach here while Nebraska still searches for a long term head coach now, and Schiano has been building something good over the last few years. The best way to place a bet here is on Rutgers to cover the spread in this game.
