An Eastern Conference matchup between two very disparate teams. Not desperate but disparate.  They are different.  The Milwaukee Bucks won a Championship with their star PF Giannis Antetokoumnpo… The Charlotte Hornets have never won a Championship and have no two stars that would equal Giannis.  The Milwaukee Bucks have been missing SF Khris Middelton.. A quality starter that may eventually make the difference between contender and champion.  The Charlotte Hornets are missing their two best players (three best, but more on that later) in PG Lonzo Ball (ankle Out indefinitely) and SF Gordon Hayward ( shoulder, Out indefinitely)... and have no chance of replacing them with the roster as is… so they have fallen to the bottom of the standings…. Add to that that the Charlotte Hornets also lost their best scorer in PF Michael Bridges… to domestic violence and a possible prison sentence (told you)... So as is the best case for the Hornets would be to let the injured players sit out all season… and let trade a few of the quality leftovers on top of that… And finally win the NBA draft lottery.  The Hornets have nothing other than Complete Disappointment as an alternative.

The Milwaukee Bucks are on a 3-game winning streak.  They won their last game against the New York Knicks 109-103. In that win PF Giannis Antetokoumnpo lodged 37 points and 13 rebounds with 7 assists.  Giannis is so good the rest of the team needs no mention.  So I won’t.  We already know that Jrue Holiday is important and Khris Middleton is important… but any 12 p[layers around Giannis would be important to simply support Giannis and everything he does as the best player in the league. 

The Charlotte Hornets lost their last game to the Boston Celtics.  That is not a shameful thing as everyone is losing to the Celtics… Shameful is knowing the Hornets lost 7 of their last 10 games… That is shameful.  They had no help on the roster as the few good players the Hornets have are either gone to prison or on the training table. If this team had known that Bridges would have flamed out his career there is no way they would have traded PF/C Jalen Duran on draft night.  They desperately need that guy now and they desperately need him for the future.  The only play now is to keep losing and get the #1 pick in the next draft… so stay away Ball and Hayward… unless we need to trade you.
