A Western Conference matchup between the two most exciting Western Conference teams last season… the two most loaded teams last season.. The two most ready to win a Championship last year.  The Warriors are a GREAT Franchise.. They won last season’s NBA Championship.  They are littered with killers and scorers and defenders… and they are struggling.  They are struggling so badly that they are in tenth place in their conference.  They are struggling so badly that they sent Center James Wiseman (today) down to the G-League to give him reps because they can not afford to have him on the court in real games.  Wiseman was the key going forward.  Wiseman was a 2nd pick in the first round of the NBA draft.. Then he missed two seasons with injury while the Warriors won a Championship.  The thinking was that Wiseman would ascend while the vets descended and the team would be a new dynasty… That is not happening. Also super young Forward Jonathan Kuminga is not really where the Warriors thought he would be.., and young SG Jordan Poole is not lifting the team as he did last season… OUCH.  And to think that the Warriors had a decent trade on the blocks last season for all the young guys for a league 2X MVP… They should have done it.  The Phoenix Suns had a great shot last season… then their owner revealed himself as a putz.  The team is going forward as if the new owner (coming soon) will be cool.  The Suns are a good team… they were great last season… They need to find whatever it was they did last season and do it again… especially since the Warriors are struggling.

The Warriors won their last game over the San Antonio Spurs 132 - 95. SG Jordan Poole had 36 points,  16 from Steph Curry, 11 from Moses Moody, 16 from Jonathan Kuminga, 17 from Anthony Lamb, and 10 from Andrew Wiggins… They were off to the races while Jordan was pulling them in a cart.  The big drip of the night was Draymond Green who had 4, 7, and 6 on the night but has been making a HUGE case to be moved… why?  The young guys on the squad DO NOT like Draymond Green.  Not just because Draymond punched a teammate… but because Draymond only backs up his intensity in the playoffs…. That leads to 10-11 months of the year where he is just a loudmouthed blowhard. Draymond is a defensive presence and a future hall of famer… but tell that to the young guys that only see Draymond score in single digits night after night. Plus Draymond takes up a MAX contract?... Let him go for peanuts of picks and maybe Marcus Morris or Jae Crowder or whoever to fill his spot… It will not hurt at this point.

The Phoenix Suns are on a two game losing streak.  They lost their last game to the Miami Heat 113-112.  I predicted the Suns … AND WE COVERED!  Phew!  In the loss SG Devin Booker had 25 points, 16 from Deandre Ayton, 15 from Mikal Bridges, 10 from Torrey Craig, 14 from Damion Lee, and 21 from a guy named Duane Washington JR…. Not kidding.  Duane got it done… If you add Duane’s 21 points to all of the last 10 games you get 30 points!  Duane has never been a part of any game plan for the Suns.  Maybe he is the new guy?.... Probably not.

Golden State Warriors VS Phoenix Suns Prediction

Our prediction for Wednesday, November 16th is…. Suns 118 - Warriors 112

Bet on the Suns… for the win and ATS.  The Warriors are going through some odd stuff… while the Suns seem to have found themselves among the injuries and junk starts.

Players To Watch

Warriors: PG Stephen Curry.  When any game is in question it is up to Steph to drop 35+... If he doesn’t?... look out Warriors.

Suns: C Deandre Ayton.  Ayton is a yo-yo of stats.  Sometimes GREAT, sometimes not so great.  Against the Warriors… all Deandre has to do is beat Kevon Looney or Draymond Green… If Deandre can not do that? He was not worth the new contract.

Coaches

Warriors: Steve “all the rings” Kerr
Suns: Monty “just give me a ring already” Williams
