Mississippi State vs Texas Prediction

The current betting odds have Texas listed as a 38.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Texas has looked really good in their games this season with their 4-0 record overall. This is going to be their first conference game of the season, but they are the highest ranked team in college football right now and they have been blowing out a lot of their opponents at home. They have also been tested this season with a road win against Michigan by double digits. Meanwhile, Mississippi State has looked terrible in their games this season with their 1-3 record overall and their 0-1 conference record. They just took back-to-back beatings at home, getting blown out by Florida last week and getting blown out by Toledo the week before, and now they have their first conference road game of the season against the best team in the land. Mississippi State hasn't really shown much to be encouraged about in their first few games while Texas has been making a case for themselves to win the National Championship whether it be with Quinn Ewers or Arch Manning starting. Mississippi State isn't going to be able to do much on offense against this Texas defense and Texas will eventually pull away like they have in all of their home games this season. The best way to place a bet here is on Texas to cover the spread in this game.

Mississippi State Texas Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, September 28, 2024 (4:15 pm ET start time) is Texas 52 MS State 7.
