Mississippi State vs Kentucky Prediction

The current betting odds have Mississippi State listed as a 7 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Mississippi State is off to a very hot start this year and they have been rolling over some good teams in the SEC early in their conference schedule already. Their defense has been great but their offense is putting up a ton of points in every game and that is going to be hard for Kentucky to keep up with here. Kentucky lost at home to South Carolina last week but they were missing their starting QB in that game. There is a chance he is back for this game but even if he is, Kentucky is more of a defensive team that will try to keep this game lower scoring and win it with good defense. Mississippi State also has a good defense though that will make it very difficult for Kentucky to score points here while Mississippi State will be able to use their offense to pull away here. The best way to place a bet in this game is on Mississippi State to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"A first-time starter, in position to be successful, I don't think our team played with the normal competitive character that our teams generally play with.
