Vikings vs Raiders Prediction

The current betting odds have the Raiders listed as a 3 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Raiders haven't looked great this season with their 5-7 record overall but they have looked a lot better in their games lately since firing their head coach. They just lost their last game to the Chiefs but they will be looking to bounce back here against a weaker opponent and the Raiders are also coming off their bye week for this game. They have also looked a lot better in their home games this year with their 4-2 home record. Meanwhile, the Vikings are also coming off their bye week and haven't looked great this season with their 6-6 record overall. They have been through a lot of adversity with their starting QB going down and going on a bit of a magical run with Dobbs taking over, but that magical run came to an end last week in a very bad loss to the Bears and Dobbs is going to start regressing in this offense now. Both teams are coming off losses and out of their bye weeks but the Raiders have looked a lot better since the coaching change and have been playing with that extra boost. They will fight to win this game at home and even if they lose, it won't be by more than a field goal. The best way to place a bet here is on the Raiders to cover the spread in this game.

Vikings Raiders Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 10, 2023 (4:05 pm ET start time) is Raiders 23 Vikings 17.

Notable Quotes

“Turnovers really control the game, so it starts with me and taking care of the football with my decision-making. No matter what happens on the other end, it’s giving the receiver a good ball and getting the ball where it needs to go based on the coverage. I acknowledge it. I’m frustrated with myself.” - Josh Dobbs after their loss against the Bears in their last game.

“I think as the game went on, for four quarters, they became the better team. There’s a reason why Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in football.” - Antonio Pierce after his team’s loss against the Chiefs in their last game.
