Vikings vs Bengals Prediction

The current betting odds have the Bengals listed as a 3 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Bengals have been a very up and down team this season with the injuries to Joe Burrow but right now they are 7-6 overall and still in the Wild Card hunt. They have looked really good in their last 2 games with Browning at QB as they have won both games and will be looking to keep their playoff hopes alive with another home win here. Meanwhile, the Vikings are also 7-6 overall and right in the Wild Card race for the NFC but they haven't looked as good in their games lately. The Vikings have looked a lot better in their road games too this season with their 5-2 road record but they just barely beat the Raiders in their last game with a 3-0 win. They have to play another road game now and even though they won in Las Vegas last week, their offense looked terrible as Dobbs had a really bad game again and they now have a lot of questions at QB with Mullens being the one to lead that game winning field goal drive. The Bengals have a backup QB starting too but he is in a much better situation here being at home and has looked a lot better in his 2 starts as the Bengals are getting hot now. The best way to place a bet here is on the Bengals to cover the spread in this game.

Vikings Bengals Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Saturday, December 16, 2023 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Bengals 21 Vikings 13.

Notable Quotes

“I felt like my trust in Nick with his preparation he could be called upon. We made sure he got some reps last week so he was ready to go, and he did exactly that. Went out and made some critical, critical plays to move the chains and ultimately get us in range for the very limited amount of points we got today.” - Kevin O’Connell after his team’s win against the Raiders in their last game.

“He's playing his butt off. He's playing like a true No. 1 quarterback, and that's all you can ask for.” - Tee Higgins on Jake Browning after their win against the Colts in their last game.
