Twins vs White Sox Prediction

The current betting odds have the White Sox listed as a slight favorite in this game. Both of these teams have been playing very well recently and both are fighting in the AL Central to win the division as it is a very close race between them and the leading Guardians. The Twins were on a big winning streak last week though, and now enter this series off of a loss while the White Sox were in a bit of a slump but have finally busted out with 2 straight wins. The White Sox are at home for this game as well and they have their ace starting in Dylan Cease. Cease has been great this season as he has not allowed many runs in his starts all season. He has not been getting many wins with the team lately but he is not allowing many runs in those starts either, and with the White Sox offense playing a lot better now they should be able to back him up with some runs here at home. Mahle is starting for the Twins and he has also been very good as he does not allow many runs either and the Twins have not lost a game with him pitching yet, but Cease has been a lot more consistent all season and there is more liability for Mahle to blow up and allow some runs as he has had a few starts like that this year. The best way to place a bet here is on the White Sox to win this game.

After we got behind, I was happy with what I saw from the at-bats. I was happy with the way we kept playing, and we came back at them and were a swing away from winning the ballgame." - Rocco Baldelli after his team’s loss against the Red Sox on Wednesday.
