Minnesota vs Wisconsin Prediction

The current betting odds have Minnesota listed as a 3.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Minnesota has been winning a lot of games this year but they have also had a very weak schedule as they haven't played many good teams. They still have one of the best defenses in the country though since they don't give up a lot of points in their games and they will be looking to bounce back from a close loss at home to Iowa in their last game. Wisconsin has been managing to stay afloat this season as they have 6 wins and are going to a bowl game but they have been through so much turmoil with the firing of their head coach. They also have a very good defense but their offense has struggled to put points up in a lot of their games and Minnesota has one of the best defense which will make it even harder for Wisconsin to score here. A lot of Minnesota's offense is running the ball as well so they are going to try and pound it on the ground all day. Both of these teams have really good defense that don't give up a lot of points in their games and both offenses have also struggled a lot when it comes to scoring. This will be a close game because of the good defenses on both teams and neither team should really pull away here. The best way to place a bet here is on Minnesota to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"The pick, that was catastrophic. But I thought he managed it well. I thought he pulled it when he needed to pull it. He got us out of some really tough situations. He was really accurate in the first half." - P.J. Fleck after his team’s loss against Iowa in their last game.

"It's everything that this team has overcome off the field, that was what came up on the field today. There's so many emotions and feelings that guys have had to deal with this year. There's so many different things that have happened to us this year that could easily have buried us and made us just fold. It's really cool to see how guys come together and want to succeed together." - Graham Mertz after their win against Nebraska in their last game.
