NBA Standings

Bucks: 46-27, 2nd place Eastern Conference
Grizzlies: 51-23. 2nd place Eastern Conference

An NBA battle between the #2 teams from each conference.  The conferences are different this season… The Eastern Conference where the Bucks hail from, is loaded with good teams popping out of every corner.  Any team can beat any team among the top 8-9 teams in the East… everyone feels that.  In the Western Conference there are just 3 top teams… The Phoenix Suns, the Memphis Grizzlies, and the Golden State Warriors.  The Memphis Grizzlies are the West team to watch… we all love the Suns, but the Grizzlies are on the rise for real without question.  The Grizzlies have zero players older than 28 years of age.  Their youth is also a plus since their stars are very young and do not need a talking down to from a vet who has accomplished nothing.  This matchup is also a great betting opportunity because Vegas will be unable to put much of a spread on either side.  The Bucks are last year’s champs… The Grizzlies are the hottest team… ring the bell and let’s get ready to rumble!

The Milwaukee Bucks have won 8 of their last ten games.  They went 8-2 ATS during that stretch.  The two teams that beat them and therefore beat them ATS have been the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Golden State Warriors.  The T-Wolves are a hot team and the Warriors are a stacked team so there is no shame in going .800 over a ten games stretch and losing to two good teams.  The Bucks rely on PF Giannis Antetokounmpo who may be the best player in the NBA… other guys will be talked about for the actual MVP award but every GM would give an obscene amount of players and picks to get Giannis… several of the current MVP candidates would be swapped if their own team could get Giannis.  Giannis is 29.7 ppg, 11.6 rpg, 5.8 apg, and 1.4 bpg.  Those are eye-popping, franchise leading, Max contract having, stadium building stats!  Except Giannis is listed as Questionable for this matchup on Saturday. That is ridiculously concerning for Milwaukee… cause if Giannis doesn’t play.. Then this is as average a team as the league has ever seen.  PG Jrue Holiday is a pretty good NBA point guard.  SF Khris Middleton is a pretty good NBA Small forward.  Neither are great and the reports of Milwaukee having a big three are erroneous.  When Giannis destroys the other team Jrue and Khris can swoop in for easy stats… When Giannis does not play, they are not left with a Big Two…. call anyone who says this is a Big Three a liar. Memphis has 8 wins out of their last ten games, going 6-4 ATS.

The Memphis Grizzlies had a full-blown coming out party!  ESPN sent the whole NBA crew to Memphis to show the world how Memphis was super hot!  Then everyone found out that star PG Ja Morant and future MVP would miss the game.  Everyone at ESPN was dejected and had to pur on their best faces and pretend everything is fine… Except Everything was fine!  The Grizzlies without Ja Morant withstood 43 points by Kyrie Irving and 35 points by Kevin Durant… to win by 12 points.  The Grizzlies TEAM gave Kyrie and Kevin a lesson in how TEAMS work.  Teams are about everyone being good and pulling their own weight and having each other’s backs.  SG/SF Dillon Brooks, SG Desmond Bane, and G/F De’Anthony Melton poured on the points… while Tyus Jones gave Kyrie Irving a lesson in what a point guard actually does for a team by adding 16 points and 10 assists!  The shine was great, the win was for the most part easy.  Memphis is the hottest team in the NBA not named the Phoenix Suns… and they will be a handful in the Playoffs.  They are currently on a three-game win streak AND a three-game win against the spread streak!  Also as long as they keep winning Ja Morant can keep resting for the Playoffs.

Milkwaukee Bucks vs Memphis Grizzlies Game Prediction

Our prediction for Saturday, March 26th is…. Grizzlies 118 - Bucks 110

The Grizzlies to win and cover.  They are scorching teams with those good Memphis feelings and Giannis is questionable with knee pain.  A smart franchise holds Giannis out until they are certain he will be 100%.  The result will be the Grizzlies TEAM beating Milwaukee harder than they did Brooklyn.
