Bucks vs Pacers Prediction

The current betting odds have the Pacers listed as a 4.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. This is game 3 of a 7 game series between the 3rd seeded Bucks and the 6th seeded Pacers for Round 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs. This series is all tied up 1-1 after the Pacers won game 2 of this series on the road. The Pacers got smacked in the face in game 1 as they were out of the game right from the start and trailed by over 20 points the entire game. They found their footing in game 2 though, winning that game by double digits and going toe-to-toe with the Bucks all night. The Pacers have been terrible in their road games this season too so that was a huge win for them, not only to even up this series, but because they needed to win a road game to get out of this series at all. Now they have flipped the home advantage going back home for game 3 and they have also looked a lot better on their home court all season with their 26-15 home record. Meanwhile, the Bucks have looked terrible in their road games this year with their 18-22 road record and now they are still going to be without Giannis Antetokounmpo in this game. They needed to win that 2nd game of the series at home to take some stress off of these 2 road games, but now they have a chance to go down in the series here and Lillard already showed that he isn't enough to win them this series himself. Lillard was able to carry the team in game 1 when they caught the Pacers by surprise, but the Pacers adjusted and were ready for them in game 2 as they were the ones to control that game. The Pacers have looked a lot better on their home court all year and this is going to be a really similar game to game 2 with the Pacers controlling the game. The best way to place a bet here is on the Pacers to cover the spread in this game.
