Iowa has looked really good on defense in their games since they haven't been giving up many points at all, but they also haven't played a very strong team either yet. Their strongest opponent so far was Iowa State and that is their only loss this year so far. Michigan is one of the best teams in the country and they aren't going to be happy about the way they played at home last week to beat Maryland. Maryland had an offense that could keep up with Michigan but Iowa has a very bad offense that hasn't done much in their 4 games. Iowa relies a lot on their defense to win games and even though they are very good, they will only hold down the Michigan offense for so long before they break free and start to score. Once Michigan starts to score points it will be hard for Iowa to come back since they aren't built to come back from behind. The best way to place a bet here is on Michigan to cover the spread here.
