Miami-OH vs Toledo Prediction

The current betting odds have Toledo listed as an 8.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. This game will be the MAC Championship between Miami-Ohio and Toledo with this game being played at a neutral site in Detroit. Toledo has looked really good this season with their 11-1 record overall and their 8-0 conference record. They haven't lost a game to a MAC opponent all season and their only loss this year actually came at the beginning of the season as they lost in a road game to Illinois by 2 points, a game they were leading the whole time too. Miami-Ohio has also looked really good in their games this season with their impressive 10-2 record overall and their 7-1 record in conference games too. Miami-Ohio hasn't looked as good in their games lately though as they have been just scraping by in a lot of wins against weaker opponents and a lot of that has to do with them losing their starting QB when they lost to Toledo earlier this season. That was a much closer game as they only lost by 4 points but they were also at home and Gabbert did play most of the game before leaving injured. This is going to be a much tougher game for them considering how they have been playing with their backup QB and they won't be at home for this game either. Toledo has been rolling over conference opponents lately and they will continue rolling their way to the Title. The best way to place a bet here is on Toledo to cover the spread in this game.

Miami-OH Toledo Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, December 2, 2023 (12:00 pm ET start time) is Toledo 31 Miami-OH 17.

Notable Quotes

“It sunk in after the strip. We’ve worked hard for it. It feels good. That’s our goal every year.” - Chuck Martin on his team winning the MAC East this season.

"I'm proud of our football team to come on the road and get a win against a team that was playing for a bowl game on their Senior Day. On Thanksgiving week, there are lots of things to be thankful for. I'm really grateful for this football team and the position they've put themselves in. They've done everything they said they were going to do back in January. That is really difficult to do. Man oh man, I'm just really happy for them and proud of them. We've put ourselves in a position where we wanted to be." - Jason Candle after his team reached 11 wins this season.
