Marlins vs Rangers Prediction

The current betting odds have the Marlins listed as a slight underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Marlins haven't been great lately as they have been slipping down the standings in the NL East but they still have a really good pitching staff to lean on and have the better pitching matchup in this game. The Rangers have been rolling all season with one of the best offenses in the MLB but their pitching hasn't been great and they are going to give the Marlins plenty of scoring opportunities in this game. The Rangers are going with Heaney in this game and he has been pitching well lately but that hasn't been the case for most of the season and he always has the potential to have a bad start and give up a ton of runs. Even if he does pitch well here, the Rangers bullpen has been really shaky all season and has blown leads for them late in games many times so the Marlins are going to have a chance in this game right to the end. The Marlins are going with Alcantara on the mound and just like Heaney he hasn't been pitching well this year, but he has been pitching a lot better in his starts lately giving up a lot less runs and he showed last season that he has that ace form in him and is starting to regain it now. He also has a really good bullpen to get him out of any trouble here so this is going to be a game the Marlins win with good pitching and the better matchup. The best way to place a bet here is on the Marlins to win this game.
