Miami vs Virginia Tech Prediction

The current betting odds have Miami listed as a 17.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Miami has looked really good in their games this season with their 8-2 record overall and their 4-2 conference record which has them in the top half of the ACC. Their 2 conference losses will likely keep them out of the ACC Championship game unless they get a miracle, but they are still the highest ranked team in the ACC. Meanwhile, Virginia Tech has looked terrible in their games this season with their 3-7 record overall and their 2-4 conference record which has them in the bottom half of the ACC. Their season has been a disaster and they fired their head coach very early in the year. Their offense has been really up and down all season with Drones not having a great year, and they are off another bad loss in their last one, losing to Florida State 34-14. They have looked better on their home field with their 2-4 home record this season, but that still isn't great and they also have a defense that has been giving up a ton of points. Miami has stumbled in the conference, but they still look like the best team in the ACC when they are at their best and they can't afford to lose anymore games since they are still trying to make a case as a playoff team. Miami needs a really strong finish to the season if they want to have any chance at sneaking into the CFP so look for Miami to continue rolling here as they have been blowing out opponents lately. The best way to place a bet here is on Miami to cover the spread in this game.
