Miami vs Pittsburgh Prediction

The current betting odds have Miami listed as a 7 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Miami has looked good in their games this season with their 9-2 record overall and their 5-2 conference record which has them right near the top of the ACC. They don't have a good chance of going to the ACC Championship at all, yet they are still the highest ranked ACC team. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh has looked good in their games this season with their 8-3 record overall and their 6-1 conference record which has them right near the top of the ACC. They are off a big road win over Georgia Tech in their last one, a win which pretty much ended GA Tech's chance at the ACC Championship, and now Pitt has a chance to go themselves with a win in this game. They are off a 42-28 road win over GA Tech, but they did get embarrassed by Notre Dame the week before. Miami is off a 34-17 win over Virginia Tech in their last one, but they are in a very interesting situation. They would need a miracle to make the ACC Championship, yet they are still the highest ranked ACC team and they are the team from the ACC with the best chance at making the CFP due to their quality win over Notre Dame. Pittsburgh is going to bring their best effort with what's on the line here, but Miami is also going to show up in a big way as they are still trying to make a case for the playoffs. Pitt did look great last week, but that was a GA Tech team that was playing with fire all season and Miami still has a lot more talent on their team. This is Miami's last chance to really show why they are the best team in the ACC despite their conference record so look for Miami to win big in this final game of the regular season. The best way to place a bet here is on Miami to cover the spread in this game.
