Miami vs Clemson Prediction

The current betting odds have Clemson listed as a 19 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Clemson only has 1 loss this season but they haven't been very good in their games this season and as a result they are only ranked 9th in the country despite being a big favorite to go to the college football playoffs at the beginning of the season. They got a nice bounce back win at home last week over Louisville and they likely don't have a chance to go to the college football playoffs anymore but on the off-chance they do, they will need to impress in these last few games as well as the ACC Championship game. Miami just pulled off a huge win on the road last week against Georgia Tech but GA Tech really isn't that good a team this year and Miami was struggling a lot in their games before getting that win. Their defense has been giving up a ton of points in games all year and their offense just hasn't been able to do much to score points either. Clemson has a very good home advantage as this is a tough place to play in and even though Miami looked good against a bad team last week, they are going to revert back to the pumpkin they have been all season here in this game. The best way to place a bet here is on Clemson to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"I think everybody is proud of our team for bouncing back and showing the resiliency that they did. A really good, almost a complete game. We got some performances by a ton of guys. Obviously, Jaccuri got the start and did a lot of good thing, and Jaylan Knighton ran really, really hard. Credit to the offensive line — down three or four starters and rushed the ball really well." - Mario Cristobal after his team’s win against GA Tech in their last game.

"We definitely wanted to play great tonight, we wanted to dominate. We wanted to get back on track to how we play offense." - DJ Uiagalelei after their win against Louisville in their last game.
