The Patriots are entering this game with a 0-1 record overall and they have a 0-0 record in their divisional games too. They are 0-1 in their home games, 0-0 in their road games, and they are also 0-0 in their neutral site games this season, but they will be at home for this game. They lost their last game against the Philadelphia Eagles 25-20. Jalen Hurts was the starting QB and he completed 22/33 passes for 170 passing yards, 1 touchdown, and 0 interceptions. Dolphins vs Patriots Prediction

The current betting odds have the Dolphins listed as a 2.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Dolphins looked really good in their season opener as they traveled to California and beat the Chargers on the road. The Dolphins have a lot of talent on offense and defense but their offense is also riddled with skilled players that the Patriots don't have at all. The Patriots already lost their season opener at home to the Eagles and even though they were playing a lot better near the end of that game, that score was closer than it should have been as the Eagles started to let that game go. The Dolphins have a very good record against the Patriots since Tua has taken over the QB position though and they have a lot more talent on their offense to put up points in this game. The Patriots defense won't be able to handle this Dolphins offense and the Patriots offense doesn't have the weapons to keep up with the Dolphins in this game either. The best way to place a bet here is on the Dolphins to cover the spread in this game.

Dolphins Patriots Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, September 17, 2023 (8:20 pm ET start time) is Dolphins 38 Patriots 17.
