Maryland vs Virginia Tech Prediction

Virginia Tech is coming into this Pinstripe Bowl as a 1 point underdog with the current betting odds according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Both of these teams finished with the same record but VT was playing much better than Maryland in their final games of the season. Maryland had lost 2 straight games and needed to win their final game to become bowl eligible while VT had already qualified for a bowl game but still finished the season winning 2 of their final 3 games. The best bet to place in this game is on VT to cover the spread and for them to be the winner of this game straight up on the moneyline as they have been playing much better recently.

Notable Quotes

"I came here to build a program that our former players and all of our fans could be really, really proud of. This is just one step. We talked about taking the next step and that's being bowl eligible now. The next step for us is to build upon what we've established, the culture, the identity. We have young players that I think give us a bright future." - Mike Locksley on their overall season this year.

"I told them this week that there was no moral victory. We're either going to win or we're going to lose, and the kids found a way to win." - J.C. Price on his team’s win against UVA in their last game of the regular season.
