Maryland vs Indiana Prediction

The current betting odds have Indiana listed as a 10.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Indiana is off to a terrible start this season as they have not won many games and have looked pretty bad in their games, but they started to play a lot better against Michigan last week but fell apart late in that game. They still showed a great effort though and they are going to be back at home again for this game. Maryland hasn't been great in their games lately either, they just lost a close game to Purdue last week and that game was at home. They are not going to play as well being on the road here and Indiana showed Michigan last week that they can hold their own at home. Maryland won't be able to shut Indiana down in the 2nd half with their defense like Michigan did and they are not going to blow this game open late on the road either. The best way to place a bet here is on Indiana to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"I'll say this: The blocked extra point had a major impact on the game. It's a one-score game, it takes us into overtime, it adjusts and changes how they play the game. The illegal man downfield had no impact on the touchdown, so I'll just leave it at that." - Mike Locksley after his team’s loss against Purdue in their last game.

"We had a chance in the fourth quarter against the fourth-ranked team in the country, a really good team, and didn't finish. That's highly disappointing. Scoring zero points in the second half is not enough and it's got to change." - Tom Allen after his team’s loss against Michigan in their last game.
