Louisville vs Virginia Tech Prediction

The current betting odds have Louisville listed as a 10 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Louisville has looked great in their games this season with their 6-1 record overall and their 3-1 conference record which has them higher in the ACC. Their only loss this year was against Virginia, but that loss has been aging well with Virginia looking like a top 25 team in the nation. Louisville also has a big upset win over Miami so they have a real shot at the ACC Championship and are playing with a ton of momentum, off a 38-24 win over Boston College in their last one. Meanwhile, Virginia Tech hasn't looked good in their games this season with their 3-5 record overall and their 2-2 conference record which has them lower in the ACC. They are off a nice 42-34 win over California in their last one, but they didn't look great for a lot of that game. They needed a big comeback win in that game and were fortunate to win it in OT. They have already fired their head coach this season and their defense has been a big issue too. Their offense looked a lot better in their last one, but their offense has struggled for most of the season and they aren't going to be able to do much here against a much better Louisville defense. VA Tech picked up a nice home win last week, but they don't have the talent to compete with Louisville here so look for Louisville to continue rolling in this one. The best way to place a bet here is on Louisville to cover the spread in this game.

Louisville Virginia Tech Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, November 1, 2025 (3:00 pm ET start time) is Louisville 38 VA Tech 21.

“We knew it was going to take all three phases to get it done. In the second half, our guys continued to battle, continued to fight, and they were resilient all game long. I just couldn’t be more proud of our football team and our coaching staff, with the way they’ve welded together and stayed together. Boy, what a big win. The joy in that locker room was unbelievable. The good Lord has blessed us in that way, and I’m just really proud of this team and how hard they fought tonight and how hard they’ve been fighting.” - Philip Montgomery after his team’s win against Cal in their last game.
