Louisville vs Virginia Prediction

The current betting odds have Louisville listed as a 3.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Louisville hasn't looked good at all in their games this season. They are off to a terrible start and have already lost all 3 conference games they have played in. Their season is pretty much over as they have nothing left to play for in the conference and can only hope for a Bowl game now. This takes all of the pressure off of them though and they still have a lot of talented players on this offense that can score points. Virginia has been very bad this year and this just might be the break needed for Louisville. Virginia just gave up a ton of points on defense to Duke in their last game and their offense has struggled to score all year. The ineptitude of the Virginia offense may just be what Louisville needs here to give some confidence to their defense and their offense will have no issues outscoring them either. This is a great bounce back spot for Louisville and they will be able to get right in this game. The best way to place a bet here is on Louisville to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"You got to play better. I mean, we can't give up 34 points, and we got to score more than that. We just got to play better, that's the bottom line. We can't give up the big play. ... Then offensively, we got to try to get more of a rhythm, and be able to go score points. Since I've been here, we've been a big play offense. One play and done, and we have not had that this year. We got to find ways to get some of those big plays." - Scott Satterfield after his team’s loss against BC in their last game.

"Go back to work. That's what we're going to do. We can't blame anybody else. You tip your hat to Duke, but we got to own what we just put on film." - Tony Elliott after his team’s loss against Duke in their last game.
