Game 3 of the Dodger/Marlins series. The Dodgers gave up 6 runs Friday night to the Miami Marlins. It was a sad state of affairs for the amazing Dodger pitching numbers… Good thing the Dodgers hitters brought in 10 runs. A game where the Over hit big, the ATS hit, and of course the moneyline was a given. The Parlay bet recommendation paid everyone who followed the advice. The moneyline will be a sparse payer in Sunday’s game… so a parlay will be the more worthwhile bet for the same money. Yes one whiff in a parlay kills the whole bet… but would you rather bet $1000 dollars to win a third of that?... or bet $500 to win a parlay payout with only slightly more risk? You do the math.
A National League matchup between a powerful force and a damp sponge. The Los Angeles Dodgers lost their opening game against the Milwaukee Brewers spoiling my prediction percentage, which was nearing a personal best, then they came roaring back winning the next two games against the Brewers… on the moneyline, ATS, and hitting the over. This landed my trifecta bet recommendation and two-game parlay recommendation. It also personally made my nut for the summer… That profit goes into the long term savings. The Dodgers erupted, scoring 22 runs against the Brewers in two games (Tues, Wed). And if you look at their results over August where they mostly won and almost always cover the spread… you may notice that that is who they are. Winners and killers. The Miami Marlins are the wet sponge. They have enough talent to not be in last place in the NL East… but only that much. They are only 2 games removed from being SWEPT by these same Dodgers and they lost their last game to the Oakland A’s… If the Marlins get a win they will need several quirky baseball-god things to break their way. The Marlins can put up some resistance… but not a lot.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have won 7 of their last 10 games, covering the spread in 5 of those 7 wins. They are first in hitting and first in pitching. It is rare that an active team has as many as 7 potential Hall of Famers given health and longevity, and has them on both sides of the diamond. They have gone 2-1 against the Milwaukee Brewers, 3-0 against THESE Miami Marlins, and 2-2 against the Milwaukee Brewers. It has actually been a real down stretch for the Dodgers… sure they have pushed their lead over every other team in the league, but damn! They lost 3 games with this roster! That must mean the Milwaukee Brewers have a good roster.
The Miami Marlins have won 4 of their last 10 games. Very few surprises and lots of losses. They are bottom of the barrel hitters with some decent pitching on the staff. These are good building blocks for a future because all it means is finding a few hitters to launch into a better atmosphere. They are a kind of big market, so spending the money to bring in a few bats would drastically improve this squad. They went 2-1 versus the Oakland Athletics, 0-3 against THESE Los Angeles Dodgers, 2-1 against the woeful San Diego Padres, and 0-1 against the Atlanta Braves during that stretch.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs Miami Marlins Prediction
Our prediction for Sunday, August 28th is… Dodgers 7 - Marlins 3
This bet is for the Dodgers on the moneyline AND ATS. It’s that simple. The reason to keep pushing is to ride the hot hand and build a bankroll for Football which is starting very soon. If you are only a baseball bettor… still it is smart to push the hot hand. The Dodgers landed a 10-6 win Friday night… which hit the betting recommendation of the Dodgers ML and ATS… a parlay that paid very green cash… and done again will pay very green cash again with dividends.

Players to Watch
Dodgers: LHP Julio Urias, 13-7, 2.36 ERA, 130 strikeouts in 133 innings pitched. 0.96 WHIP. Julio is a killer… and almost an ACE. His WHIP is exceptional, his ERA is exceptional… He just needs to keep stacking wins.
Marlins: RHP Edward Cabrera, 4-1, 1.41 ERA, 43 strikeouts in 38 innings pitched. 0.97 WHIP. Cabrera is a 24 year old with a ton of skill but not a lot of experience. He will take that small experience (only 64 innings as a starter) against the Dodger Lineup with little run support from his teammates.
Starting Lineups
Dodgers: RF Mookie Betts, SS Trea Turner, 1B Freddie Freeman, C Will Smith, 3B Max Muncy, DH Justin Turner, 2B Gavin Lux, LF Joey Gallo, CF Cody Bellinger
Marlins: 3B Jon Berti, SS Miguel Rojas, 1B Jesus Aguilar, DH Brian Anderson, C Nick Fortes, RF Jerar Encarnacion, 2B Charles LeBlanc, CF Peyton Burdick, LF Luke Williams
Manager
Dodgers: Dave “Is this heaven?” Roberts
Marlins: Don “you've heard my name” Mattingly
Weather Forecast
Partly Cloudy, 90*, Humidity 68%, Wind 9 mph, Precipitation 20%. Avoid the hot dank days in Miami by getting into the amazing blue Ocean… avoid the sharks by simply not bleeding or thrashing or swimming against the current…. Who am I kidding?.. You are about to be eaten by a bull shark. They will spend 11 minutes on Saturday morning looking for your corpse.
