Chargers vs Patriots Prediction

The current betting odds have the Chargers listed as a 6 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Chargers haven't looked great this season with their 4-7 record overall and they continue to find ways to lose close games. They just lost another heartbreaker against the Ravens on Monday and they were right in that game with a chance to win it all night. Even though they lost that game, the Chargers looked a lot better on defense to hold the strong Ravens offense to just 20 points and 1 of those TDs was scored right at the end of the game too. The defense will be looking to follow up here with another good performance and this time they are facing a much weaker offense that has been struggling all season. The Patriots have looked terrible this season with their 2-9 record overall and their 1-4 home record. Their defense has been keeping them in some of their games against weaker opponents but they won't have much of a chance stopping this Chargers offense. The Chargers are also going to be desperate to try and turn their season around and it starts with beating up on a struggling team here. The best way to place a bet here is on the Chargers to cover the spread in this game.

Chargers Patriots Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 3, 2023 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Chargers 24 Patriots 10.

Notable Quotes

“That was certainly the difference in the game, and it usually is in the NFL. We hung in there about as well as you could, turning it over like that, and one of them in the red area. Just didn’t play well enough, clean enough to win tonight.” - Brandon Staley after his team’s loss against the Ravens in their last game.

“We turned the ball over too many times. Got away from us, even the few times we didn’t turn it over. We missed an opportunity at the end of the game to put it into overtime. Not good enough." - Bill Belichick after his team’s loss against the Giants in their last game.
