Royals vs Astros Prediction

The current betting odds have the Royals listed as a big underdog in this game. The Royals have not been playing well recently as they have one of the worst records in the MLB this season and have only been able to beat up on the other bad teams. The Astros have been very good winning their last 7 straight games and they also have the 2nd best record in the AL which is one of the best in the MLB as well. They have even defeated the Yankees, who currently have the best record, more times than they have lost to them but they have not been playing great in their last 2 games. They almost lost their series finale against the Angels as they were losing 2-0 for most of the game and managed to come back, winning it in the 9th inning. The same thing happened in their last game when the Royals took an early 5-0 lead just to watch it slip away as the Astros slowly came back each inning just to win in the 9th again. The Astros are starting to fade a bit on this long streak though and the Royals probably have their best chance to win a game here with Keller on the mound here. He has been decent this season and is coming off of a very good start where he did not allow a single run. Javier is starting for the Astros here and he has also been very good this season but has been slipping up in his recent starts. The best way to place a bet here is on the under as both starting pitchers will keep this a low scoring game but considering how each have pitched in their last few starts, there is also a little value on the Royals here at this price.
