Chiefs vs Jets Prediction

The current betting odds have the Chiefs listed as a 10 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Chiefs are 2-1 this season but haven't really looked that good in any of their games until last week. They blew out a very bad Bears team at home by 31 points and now they go on the road for this prime time game, but they are also playing the Jets who have a terrible offense with Zach Wilson and are one of the worst teams in the NFL when he is starting. The Chiefs were out to prove a point against the Bears last week and they will be looking to follow up with another big win over a bad team. The Chiefs offense has been getting better and their defense has been really good, the Jets offense is going to struggle just to move the ball against them. The Jets also have a really bad offense with a team that isn't behind Wilson as the QB so even if he has a better game here, the team doesn't play for him and there is too much pressure on his shoulders to perform. He is going to crack under the pressure and he will put up another bad game against a better Chiefs defense. The best way to place a bet here is on the Chiefs to cover the spread in this game.

Chiefs Jets Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, October 1, 2023 (8:20 pm ET start time) is Chiefs 31 Jets 13.

Notable Quotes

“We got things rolling and that's a plus against a defense that, you know, is banged up a little bit.” - Andy Reid after his team’s win against the Bears in their last game.

“Obviously, that’s not good enough overall. You know, third downs, we couldn’t run the ball. It would help if we could help around (Wilson) in terms of the way we play. But just overall, it just wasn’t good enough from coaching to the players.” - Robert Saleh after his team’s loss against the Patriots in their last game.
