Chiefs vs Jaguars Prediction

The current betting odds have the Chiefs listed as a 2.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Chiefs were stunned by the Lions on Thursday Night Football in their opening game as they lost by 1 point at home. They were plagued by drops in that game as Mahomes played well but his receivers simply couldn't catch the ball. They will be looking to bounce back with a better game here and the receivers will also be looking to step up in a big way after that embarrassing performance. The Jaguars looked really good in their season opener as they beat the Colts by 10 points and now have their home opener here, but the Jags also struggled at times in that game. They were trailing in that game for some time before finally pulling away with the lead and they also allowed a Colts team with a rookie QB to shred their defense for 21 points. The Chiefs have a much better team than the Colts do and they are going to be upset after losing in their home opener so look for them to bounce back here. The best way to place a bet here is on the Chiefs to cover the spread in this game.

Chiefs Jaguars Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, September 17, 2023 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Chiefs 34 Jaguars 28.
