Iowa State vs Wisconsin Prediction

Wisconsin is coming into this game as a 3.5 point favorite with the current betting odds according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Iowa State is coming off of a big upset against LSU in round 1 as they edged past them by 5 points in that game. Iowa State has not been playing very well recently though and they had lost 3 straight games coming into this tourney. LSU was not playing that great either coming into this one so even though ISU is an 11 seed, that upset really was not that shocking as neither team was really playing great and would not have made it past this round anyway. They are going up against a Wisconsin side that has not been playing that well recently either but, they have still been playing better in recent games and they had a much more successful season than Iowa State did, finishing as the top team in the Big Ten. Wisconsin played much better in round 1 of this tourney and they will start to gain some steam the deeper they go matched up against these weaker opponents. Wisconsin is the better team here and has been for most of the season. They are playing much better than ISU in their recent games and they should be able to edge them out here. Wisconsin will win and cover the spread in this game.
