Iowa vs Purdue Prediction

The current betting odds have Iowa listed as a 4.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Iowa is entering this game with a 4-4 record despite being so bad on offense in a lot of their games. They have one of the best defenses in the country as it has been very hard for teams to put up points on them but their offense has been doing nothing in their games and is a big reason for their struggles this season. Their offense was a lot better in their last game though as they put up 33 points on Northwestern who is not a very good team but the Iowa offense showed a lot of positives in that game as they were actually able to move the ball in it. Purdue hasn't had a great defense this season as they have struggled to keep a lot of their opponents under 20 points scored in their games and they have been starting to slip in their games lately as they keep losing games. Their offense has even been struggling lately but they are going to struggle a lot more in this game on this defense. Iowa has a much better defense that will keep them in this game like they have in all of their games this season but with the offense starting to move the ball better and score some points, they have a very good chance at stunting Purdue here and upsetting them in this game. The best way to place a bet here is on Iowa to cover the spread in this game.
