Indiana Pacers Analysis

The Pacers are coming into this game with a 25-47 record overall and they are 9-27 in their road games this season where they will be in this game. They are coming into this game on a 2 game winning streak. Their last loss was against the Memphis Grizzlies while their 2 wins since then have come against the Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers in their last game. They still have a game against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night that needs to be played first so this will be the 2nd leg of a back-to-back for them on Thursday night. In their game against the Trail Blazers, Oshae Brissett led the team in points in that game with 24 while Justin Anderson was next on the team with 18 points. Lance Stephenson led the team in assists in that game with 11 while Oshae Brissett led the team in rebounds with 9. They were 57.1% from the field, 42.9% from 3-point range, and 85.7% from the free throw line with their shots in that game. Memphis Grizzlies Analysis

The Grizzlies are coming into this game with a 49-23 record overall and they are 24-10 in their home games this season where they will be in this game. They have won 5 of their last 6 games and are coming into this one off of a win in their last game. Their last loss was against the Atlanta Hawks while their 5 wins in that span came against the New Orleans Pelicans, the New York Knicks, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Indiana Pacers, and the Houston Rockets in their last game. They still have a game against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night that needs to be played first so this will be the 2nd leg of a back-to-back for them on Thursday night. In their game against the Rockets, Desmond Bane led the team in points in that game with 24 while Dillon Brooks was next on the team with 20 points. Bane and Tyus Jones both led the team in assists in that game with 7 each while Steven Adams led the team in rebounds with 9. Pacers vs Grizzlies Prediction

The Grizzlies have been playing very well in their recent games with 5 wins in their last 6 games. They will be on a back-to-back in this game though and they will be coming off of a game against the Nets with both Durant and Irving playing. That first game is going to take a lot of energy out of them trying to contain those 2 players and beat the Nets and the Grizzlies will have to do it without their best player in Ja Morant. Luckily, they are going up against a Pacers team here that has been one of the worst teams in the NBA this season and it should be a much easier game for them to play in after their Nets game since the Pacers will also be on a back-to-back as well but they have to travel for this game. The Pacers are also banged up themselves and even though their injured starters will likely play here, they will not be at full strength. The Grizzlies still have a very good team that is number 2 in the entire NBA and they should be able to win this game with or without Morant here. The Pacers have not been playing awful recently though so this will likely be a closer game with the Grizzlies weaker lineup. The Grizzlies should win this game still but only by single digits.
