Texans vs Steelers Prediction

The current betting odds have the Texans listed as a 3 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Texans have looked great in their games this season with their 12-5 record overall which had them right near the top of the AFC South. They have been a good road team too with their 5-3 road record this year. Meanwhile, the Steelers have looked good in their games this season with their 10-7 record overall which has them right at the top of the AFC North. They have looked good on their home field too with their 5-3 home record this season. The Steelers have looked good to end the regular season, coming off a 26-24 win over the Ravens to secure this spot and home game by winning the division. As good as they have looked down the stretch, they fell short in a game against the Browns 2 weeks ago when they had a chance to clinch the division, and they have had a really up and down season all year. The Texans had a terrible start to the season as they were 0-3 after their first 3 games, but they turned things around with one of the best defenses in the NFl and ended the regular season on a 9 game winning streak. Their offense hasn't looked great at times, but it has definitely gotten better over the last few weeks, and they have one of the best defenses in the NFL to lean on since they don't give up many points. This Steelers defense has a lot of talent, but they haven't looked great in a lot of their games this year, and the offense has looked terrible at times as they don't have a lot of talent on that side of the ball. The Steelers were able to win that final game of the season against the Ravens to get here, but this is where their journey ends against a better Texans team coming into town. The best way to place a bet here is on the Texans to cover the spread in this game.

Texans Steelers Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, January 12, 2026 (8:15 pm ET start time) is Texans 27 Steelers 13.
