Houston vs Cincinnati Prediction

Houston is coming into this game as a 10 point underdog with the current betting odds according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Both of these teams have been playing great all season with great offenses and defenses. This is the Conference Championship game but it is so much more than that as well. Houston can not only win the title with a win in this game but they would also hand Cincinnati their 1st loss of the season and would take them out of the college football playoffs as Cincinnati needs a win here to keep their spot in the top 4 right now. There is a lot of pressure on Cincinnati not just to win this game but to get style points and win by a lot. Houston is a good team and will be very motivated to get up for this game and try to get the win. The best bet to place in this game is on Houston to cover the spread as they will at least keep this game a close one.

Notable Quotes

"We knew we were going to be in this game, but yet we had to take care of business and play Memphis and then we had to take care of business and play at UConn. That's tricky. Those are trap games and we didn't fall for it." - Dana Holgorsen on his team’s win against Memphis and UConn despite knowing they were going to be in the AAC Championship game.

"We knew there were more things at stake. It's great when you have a mature group that you don't have to go over every little thing. You trust that they're enjoying it, but they have to understand that to whom much is given, much is expected." - Luke Fickell on his team’s win against ECU in their last game.
