Packers vs Raiders Prediction

The current betting odds have the Packers listed as a 1 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Packers are 2-2 this season and they have played in some really close games but they still have a lot of weapons on offense to use even without Aaron Rodgers. Jordan Love has looked good in his starts this season and he is only going to get better as he grows into this offense more. The Raiders won their 1st game of the season but they have been struggling ever since with 3 losses in a row now and their offense hasn't really been putting up a ton of points in their games. They don't have a great defense either so stopping this Packers offense will be tough. The Raiders offense has also been struggling a lot and now they have an injury to their starting QB that kept him out of their last game too. Even if Jimmy G comes back for this game, he hasn't been great in this offense this season and the Raiders are going to fall short here with the Packers playing a lot better right now. The best way to place a bet here is on the Packers to cover the spread in this game.

Packers Raiders Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Monday, October 9, 2023 (8:15 pm ET start time) is Packers 23 Raiders 17.

Notable Quotes

“I think just offensively as a whole we’ve just got to start faster. We don’t start fast and we kind of get behind and it’s hard running the ball. We get put in situations where you’ve got to throw the ball. So I think we’ve just got to start faster.” - Jordan Love after their loss against the Lions in their last game.

“We put ourselves in a hole here and I thought our team fought hard and fought back, but we’re gonna have to clean up some of the things that we’re doing to put us in those situations so we don’t have to feverishly scramble back at the end." - Josh McDaniels after his team’s loss against the Chargers in their last game.
