They won their last game against the New York Giants 34-27 in OT. Jared Goff was the starting QB and he completed 28/42 passes for 279 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Packers vs Lions Prediction

The current betting odds have the Packers listed as a 2.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Packers have looked good in their games this season with their 7-3-1 record overall which has them right near the top of the NFC North. They have also been a good road team this year with their 3-1-1 road record. Meanwhile, the Lions have looked good in their games this season with their 7-4 record overall, but that record has them right near the bottom of the NFC North in a really competitive division. They have looked great on their home field this year with their 4-1 home record. They haven't looked as good as they did last season though and they have definitely taken a step back this season. They have been up and down this year with their offense not looking great at times. Their defense has improved from last season, but still hasn't looked great at times, like in their 34-27 win over the Giants last week. They were trailing for most of that game and needed OT to win it while the Packers are off a 23-6 win over the Vikings and were cruising the entire time. The Packers have definitely had their own issues on offense this season, but they have looked a lot better lately. They also have one of the best defenses in the NFL to lean on, and that defense completely shut down the Lions in their first meeting this season. The Packers have looked like the better team lately with a defense that has been causing a lot of issues for teams, and this is a great opportunity for the Packers to spread the gap in the division. The best way to place a bet here is on the Packers to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“I've never called the same run so many times consecutively. It was like 3 yards and a cloud of dust, but it was effective. Bottom line, I just thought the way our defense was playing, we just took the air out of the ball and said, ‘Go win it for us.’” - Matt LaFleur after his team’s win against the Vikings in their last game.

“We’re trying to win the game, so we want to score as many points as possible. We thought that was a place to be aggressive.” - Mike Kafka after his team’s loss against the Lions in their last game.
