Florida State vs North Carolina State Prediction

The current betting odds have NC State listed as a 3 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Both of these teams have gotten off to hot starts with each team losing their last game, but NC State has had a much tougher schedule than FSU. NC State has played some good teams this season and their only loss so far came on the road last week in Clemson who is one of the best teams in the country. NC State is also a ranked team at number 14 in the nation and this FSU team is a bit of a fraud. They have some nice wins in their conference but they haven't really played any good teams, struggling to win the games they have played. They also just lost to Wake Forest at home who is ranked 15th in the country, now going on the road against a higher ranked team it looks like the same fate will be in line for this FSU team. NC State has the defense to stunt this offense from scoring a lot and NC State can put up a lot of points in their games too. They will have no problems winning this game at home by more than a field goal as they expose this fraud FSU team for what they really are. The best way to place a bet here is on NC State to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"Disappointed. I thought our guys, especially there in the first half, really started almost pressing when we had a little bit of adversity that showed up, did a lot of uncharacteristic things, uncharacteristic mistakes showing up. Way too many penalties. Turnovers, balls were in jeopardy. You look at the third-down situations on both sides, they did a really good job in those critical down situations. I think they were 13 out of 21 of third and fourth downs." - Mike Norvell after his team’s loss against Wake Forest in their last game.

"Lost the turnover margin, lost the line of scrimmage, you don't win many games like that." - Dave Doeren after his team’s loss against Clemson in their last game.
