Duke vs Louisville Prediction

The current betting odds have Louisville listed as a 4 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Louisville has looked really good this season with their 6-1 record overall and their 3-1 conference record as they are starting to look like a threat in the ACC. They did lose their last game against Pitt which isn't a great loss at all but they are coming out of their bye week now and will be looking to bounce back at home here. Duke has also looked really good this season with their 5-2 record overall and they are 2-1 in conference play but they are also dealing with a banged up QB who is unlikely to play in this game. Even if Leonard does play he won't be 100% and they are going to have an angry Louisville team on their hands looking to bounce back at home. Jeff Brohm has turned things around in his 1st season coaching Louisville and they have the edge here being at home off their bye week, especially with Duke coming off a game against Florida State. The best way to place a bet here is on Louisville to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“He was begging me on the sideline to come back in. I didn't feel comfortable with where he was health-wise to move back, so we didn't do it.” - Mike Elko on Riley Leonard after his team’s loss against FSU in their last game.

“Winning the turnover battle is vital to success. You saw it in the Notre Dame game, it definitely helped us. Of course, in the Pittsburgh game, it hurt us that we turned the ball over so much, especially when you play the game where you have twice as many first downs as the other team. Turnovers were crucial. It really, really hurt us, so that was unfortunate.” - Jeff Brohm on his team’s upcoming game against Duke this week.
