Tigers vs White Sox Prediction

The current betting odds have the White Sox listed as a favorite in this game. The White Sox are coming off a series that they lost to the Twins when they had a chance to catch up to them in the division a little. That chance is gone now but they have still been playing well recently, sweeping the Giants on the road prior to that series, and their pitching has also been a lot better as well. They are starting to get better performances out of their starters which is helping to take stress off of their bullpen and they have another starter here in Giolitto who is coming off of a great start in his last game. The Tigers are starting Skubal here who has been their best starter in the rotation this season but he had a great start to the season and was a lot better in those first two months. He has been slipping up in his recent starts, coming off of another start where he allowed 5 runs, and he is going to be facing a hungry White Sox team that has players returning from injury here and will be looking to sweep this series. The Tigers are coming off a 4-game sweep of the Guardians in their last series but that was also at home and they have been much better there than they have been on the road. This series will be a nice bounce back for the White Sox. The best way to place a bet here is on the White Sox to win this game.
