Lions vs Packers Prediction

The current betting odds have the Lions listed as a 1.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Lions defense showed up big in their last game with a 20-6 win at home over the Falcons and now they are on the road in a divisional game but they have already shown this year they can win on the road with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Packers have also looked good in their games with a 2-1 record and their 1 loss was only by 1 point on the road. They weren't that great in that loss though despite being close in score and they looked even worse in their last game at home despite beating the Saints by 1 point. The Saints had a 17-0 lead at HT in that game before an injury to Derek Carr derailed their offense and allowed the Packers to come back with poor game management. The Saints likely win that game though if Carr plays until the end and now they have another tough challenge with the Lions. The Lions are still the best team in this division and with the injuries that the Packers have, they won't be able to keep this a close game as the Lions will expose them here. The best way to place a bet here is on the Lions to cover the spread in this game.

Lions Packers Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Thursday, September 28, 2023 (8:15 pm ET start time) is Lions 24 Packers 17.
